2. Used in the manufacture of glycerin, nitroglycerin explosives, fiberglass, glycerol methacrylate, chlorinated rubber, glycidyl derivatives, surfactants, electrical insulation products, etc.

3. Serves as a common raw material for producing various adhesives, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, plasticizers, and ion exchange resins.

4. Used as a solvent for adhesives, coatings, paints, rubber, resins, cellulose esters, and cellulose ethers.
